About this policy
At Scrima, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information Scrima collects and records, and how we use it.
- Scrima is a platform for administering PUBG scrims, managing teams and matches, displaying results, leaderboards, match history and statistics.
- Scrima connects relevant data from Discord, Steam and the PUBG API when those integrations are used.
- For questions or more information, use the Scrima contact page.
Log files
Scrima follows a standard procedure of using log files when users visit and use the service.
- Log files may include IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, date and time stamps, referring and exit pages, pages visited and actions performed within the service.
- Logs may also include error logs and other technical information.
- This information is used to analyze trends, administer the service, monitor usage, improve functionality, fix technical problems, protect accounts and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.
Information we collect
When you use Scrima, we may collect information that you provide directly or that is generated through your use of the service.
- Account username or alias, email address, password hash, email confirmation code hash, login sessions and authentication state.
- Discord user ID, display name, avatar, verified email if provided by Discord, guild IDs, role checks, channel IDs, command usage and server-related information.
- SteamID64, Steam display name, avatar and public profile URL when a user chooses Steam sign-in or Steam account linking.
- PUBG player name, PUBG account ID, platform and related game identifiers.
- Soft-login IGN saved on the user's device, plus saved players, saved labels, preferences and local dashboard context.
- Profile images, team logos, team names, team rosters and player participation.
- Scrim, match, lobby, tournament and result data.
- Kills, placements, points, leaderboards and match history.
- Admin actions, commands and moderation-related activity.
- Crate Clicker progress and other logged-in account progression where those features are used.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and usage logs.
Discord data
Scrima may integrate with Discord to provide admin flows, commands, notifications, role checks and scrim-related automation.
- When Discord integration is used, Scrima may process Discord user ID, username, global display name, avatar, verified email if provided by Discord, server ID, role information, channel IDs, command usage and notification preferences.
- Scrima does not access or store private Discord messages unless a specific feature requires it and the relevant server admin or user has enabled that feature.
- Discord data is used only where needed for scrim operations, admin workflows, support workflows and publication context.
- Discord API data is updated, deleted or detached where required by Discord rules, user requests, provider requests or applicable law.
Steam data
Scrima may use Steam OpenID for login or account linking when the user chooses that flow.
- Steam linking may store SteamID64, Steam display name, avatar and profile URL from public Steam profile data.
- Scrima does not receive, request or store Steam passwords, Steam payment data, Steam Guard codes, private inventory data or private profile fields.
- Steam profile information can change on Steam. Scrima may refresh the public display name and avatar so the account UI remains understandable.
- A linked Steam profile is used to connect the Scrima account with the user's public Steam identity and may be locked to that account unless support changes it.
PUBG API data
Scrima may use PUBG API data to retrieve and process match-related information.
- PUBG API data may include PUBG account IDs, player names, shard/platform, match IDs, custom match status, map names, match timing, rosters, team placement, kills, assists, damage, DBNOs, match results and other game-related statistics.
- Telemetry-derived data may include match events, movement, zone phases, damage events, kill events, item and weapon context and replay/map data where available.
- This data is used to automate result tracking, generate leaderboards, verify match information and provide statistics to admins, players and teams.
- Some PUBG-related data may be publicly visible as part of match results, leaderboards, team pages or player statistics.
- PUBG API credentials are server-side. Scrima should not expose PUBG API keys in browser code, public repositories, logs or downloadable resources.
- PUBG data should be cached and refreshed in a rate-limit aware way so Scrima does not repeatedly fetch unchanged data or overload the API.
Account linking and identity use
Linked identity data is used to make one Scrima profile work across login methods, player lookup, saved context and community workflows.
- Email, Discord and Steam are login or verification methods for the Scrima account.
- PUBG IGN and PUBG account ID are used to locate player stats, sync custom lobbies and show player-centered dashboards.
- Discord guild and role data are used to decide whether a user can create or administer guild-scoped lobbies.
- Account linking does not make Scrima an official Steam, Discord or PUBG identity provider.
Uploaded images
When a signed-in user uploads a profile image or team logo, Scrima stores that uploaded image so it can be shown on the account, player or team-related UI.
- Uploaded profile images and team logos are resized in the browser where possible, checked for supported image type and stored with the Scrima account or that user's team branding.
- Discord and Steam avatars are handled as provider avatar URLs when available; Scrima does not need to download and store separate copies of those avatars for normal account display.
- Users should only upload images they own or have permission to use, and images must not infringe PUBG, KRAFTON, Discord, Steam, Valve or other third-party rights.
- A user can remove their uploaded profile image or team logo from the account page, and deletion requests can include uploaded images.
Data sharing
Scrima shares information with third parties only in the ways described in this Privacy Policy.
- We may disclose information to team members, personnel, suppliers, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics providers or subcontractors where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve Scrima.
- These parties are only allowed to use the information as necessary to provide services to Scrima and are expected to protect it appropriately.
- If you use features connected to Discord, Steam or PUBG, relevant information may be processed through those services to provide the requested functionality.
- Certain information may be visible to scrim admins, tournament organizers or community staff where necessary to manage teams, matches, results, disputes, leaderboards and participation.
- If Scrima is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- We may disclose information if required by law, legal process or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of Scrima, users or others.

Some information submitted to or generated by Scrima may be visible to other users or the public.
- Usernames or aliases, PUBG player names, team names and team rosters.
- Profile images, team logos and public team/player profile information that a user or organizer chooses to publish.
- Match results, kills, placements, points, leaderboards and match history.
- Tournament or scrim participation.
- You should not use usernames, team names or profile information that contain personal information you do not want to be public.
Data storage
Scrima processes and stores data for as long as required to provide the service, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce rules, prevent abuse and maintain historical match and leaderboard integrity.
- If data is no longer required, it will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.
- Some information may be retained for a limited period in backups, logs or archives.
- Some information may be retained where retention is necessary for legal, security or legitimate operational purposes.
Security
Scrima uses technical and organizational security measures to protect data under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and unauthorized access.
- Measures may include access controls, secure authentication, signed session state, encrypted connections, logging, monitoring and restricted internal access.
- Passwords should be stored as hashes, not plaintext passwords.
- Discord client secrets, Discord bot tokens, Steam integration state secrets and PUBG API keys should be kept server-side and out of browser code.
- Production storage for Discord API data should use encryption at rest and appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards where required by Discord rules and applicable law.
- No online service can guarantee complete security, but Scrima works to protect user information and improve security practices over time.

- The right to request deletion of your personal data under certain conditions.
- The right to request restriction of processing under certain conditions.

Cookies and similar technologies
Scrima may use cookies and similar technologies to store information such as login sessions, user preferences, security settings and usage information.
- Cookies may be used to keep users logged in, remember preferences, improve the service, analyze usage, detect abuse or suspicious activity and improve performance and security.
- Local storage may be used for device-only features such as remembered IGN, saved dashboard context, saved players or Crate Clicker state.

Analytics
Scrima may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the service, improve functionality, identify issues and monitor performance.

Children's information
Protecting children while using the internet is important. Scrima does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
- If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Scrima, please contact us immediately.
- Scrima will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from its records.
- Users under the age of legal majority in their country should use Scrima only with permission from a parent or legal guardian and must follow applicable PUBG, Discord, Steam and local age-related rules.
Online privacy policy only
This Privacy Policy applies only to Scrima's online activities and is valid for users of the website, platform, Discord-related features and connected online services.
- This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected offline or through channels not operated by Scrima.
- By using Scrima, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
Deleting personal information
If you wish to delete your personal information from Scrima, contact Scrima through the contact page and clearly state that you request deletion of your personal information.
- Scrima will process deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible.
- You may request that Scrima unlinks Discord, Steam, email or PUBG identity data where unlinking is technically and legally possible.
- Once personal information has been deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled according to applicable law, confirmation should be provided where possible.
- Certain information may be retained in backups, archives, logs or historical match records for a limited period where required by law, security needs, abuse prevention or legitimate operational purposes.
- Where deleting match or leaderboard data would affect the integrity of completed scrims or tournaments, Scrima may anonymize or detach personal identifiers instead of deleting the entire historical record.
- You may also revoke third-party access through Discord or Steam where those services provide their own controls.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Scrima may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
- Your continued use of Scrima after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
